This past week we had a blast exploring and learning with some guest who were in town for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Convention.
We were thrilled to have been able to have our first up and close looks at the Golden Silk Spiders, Brown Anoles, and Eastern Pond Hawk Dragonflies. Each one of these incredible creatures are habitants of our magnificent marshes of Bayou Sauvage, and we were lucky to have been able to see them in their natural habitat. Next, we went dockside in Ycloskey, and were holding some beautiful Blue Crabs like pros.
The Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge has so much to offer our beautiful wildlife. We hope you will come join us to explore and learn about everything happening out here beyond the floodwalls!
