Late last week, our founder, Barbara Johnson, was invited to appear on “In The NOLA” – a show hosted by Betsie Gambel on New Orleans’ own WGSO 990 AM.

Sharing our passion for Louisiana’s wetlands and the importance of life beyond the flood walls is important to us – it’s why we do what we do. So the ability to share that with the rest of the city, to go into the intricacy of preservation efforts, to illustrate the seafood industry culture, and to delve into the immaculate history of all of the places we’ve weaved into tours was pretty epic.

It was also an amazing opportunity to share that our tours in September benefit the Restore the Mississippi River Delta Coalition!

Touring is such a fun and fulfilling way to support this great cause.

On the show, Barbara also went into the foundation of Great Delta Tours, and why there’s truly nothing else like it in New Orleans. So thankful to be considered “In The NOLA” as part of a community of locals contributing to our way of life.
